Sea Turtles

This unit contains general information about sea turtles, species, adaptations to the aquatic environment and a general assessment of health and disease as well as potential threats that cause their drastic decline.

Unit 2

Ocean Conservation

Sea turtles face many threats. Either due to environmental issues or anthropogenic reasons, many hatchlings don’t survive. Plastic debris and pollution adversely affects marine life including sea turtles. This unit explores the subject of marine pollution including plastic pollution and the resulting health issues and impact on marine life.

Sea Turtle Conservation

The course explores the taxonomy of sea turtles, including the different species that are living around the world and the environments that they inhabit.
