Course Description

This Kickstarter course on Working with Dogs will give learners an introduction to various career options such as working in Kennels, Dog Training, Dog Grooming, Dog Walking and Veterinary Careers.

During the course, you will have the opportunity to learn about the history and domestication of dogs, dog breeds, behaviour and enrichment, and fear-free training.
Learners will have the opportunity to explore the relevant courses available for working with dogs. The course also looks at employability skills and the benefits of volunteering to gain experience.

Once you have completed the course you will have the basic understanding needed to look for entry job opportunities working with dogs and consider further training and qualifications.
